Venezia bid £3.9m for Doig

Venezia have submitted a £3.9m bid for Scotland left-back Josh Doig from Serie A rivals Sassuolo, with the promoted club confident of securing the 23-year-old's signature.

Venezia, who were promoted to Serie A last season, have made a formal approach for the Scotland international who joined Sassuolo from Hellas Verona in 2024. The Italian club is confident of reaching an agreement to sign the left-back ahead of the new season. betsport.cv
