British Fery Reaches Wimbledon Semifinals

Arthur Fery, ranked 114th in the world, made history by reaching the Wimbledon semifinals as a wildcard, beating Italian Flavio Cobolli 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), 6-0. The 23-year-old is the first British man to reach this stage since Cameron Norrie in 2022 and the first wildcard to do so in 25 years.

Fery will face German Alexander Zverev in the semifinals on Friday. Zverev, fresh off his first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros last month, defeated American Taylor Fritz in straight sets to reach the final four.
